The AMC1200EVM is an analog multiplexer designed to enable developers to quickly evaluate the performance of the AMC1200 analog switch. The AMC1200 is an analog multiplexer designed to provide high speed signal performance, transparent impedance matching, and low power consumption. It features a single, low-voltage analog input with two independent low-voltage digital control pins, referred to as the "enable/select" pins. The EVM also includes test points and a breadboard area, allowing customers to easily customize the design of their AMC1200EVM for their own applications.

The AMC1200EVM is designed to ensure fast, reliable evaluation of the analog multiplexer while providing a number of features to give customers the ability to rapidly prototype and test their designs. The EVM has four board connections to enable customers to quickly connect external cables to the board for testing. The permissions are arranged for easy header insertion, providing direct access to the AMC1200EVM. The evaluation board also features a power supply circuit that allows the user to generate up to 20 mV of excitation voltage, which is necessary for testing the operation of the analog multiplexer when used with small signal sensing applications.

The working principle of AMC1200EVM is based on the switch control logic. The two digital control pins, enable and select, provide the control logic that is used to determine if the switch should be on or off. When the enable is set to 0, the switch is off and no current will flow between the input and output terminals.
