The AS1112C-BQFT is a highly configurable buck, boost and FlyBack LED driver IC that allows the user to adjust the power source‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍ requirement in conjunction with the adjustable maximum current setting.  It offers an adjustable voltage coverage of up to 18 V for a wide range of LED drivers applications. The versatile IC also features over-voltage protection, a comprehensive digital diagnostics interface and debug features including over-temperature, under-voltage lockout, digital soft-start, and configurable soft-stop. This makes it ideal for use in applications such as multi-LED illumination, home/office lighting, medical instrumentation, industrial lighting, automotive lighting, and automotive display backlighting.

The AS1112C-BQFT is an integrated, PMIC (Power Management IC) based LED driver IC that supports a wide range of output current settings with the help of a single-stage switching regulator scheme. It is capable of driving up to 7 LEDs in series, at up to 500 mA. It is designed to support high-efficiency operation and supports up to 85% efficiency.  The IC also supports dynamic voltage scaling and adjustable current threshold settings. When a suitable current threshold is set, the IC provides a current limit protection and helps in extending the life of the LED.

The AS1112C-BQFT also offers overvoltage protection and accurate LED current control to regulate the current flow through the LEDs. With the help of its adjustable hysteresis window, it can effectively eliminate ripple current effects and help in optimizing the LED current control. Additionally, the IC also provides protection against reverse voltage. Furthermore, the IC provides a digital soft start and  configurable soft-stop to improve the performance of the system. Moreover, the IC can provide the user with the ability to monitor the system through its digital diagnostic interface.

The AS1112C-BQFT provides control and protection for up to 10 LEDs, making it ideal for single stage, high efficiency, and high power LED applications. It is also capable of controlling up to 12 multi‐colored LEDs or four RGB LEDs using its internal LEDs or external NPN drivers. It supports both buck and boost operating modes to regulate current flow and brightness of the LEDs.  With a wide input voltage range of up to 30 V, it is suitable for a wide range of LED drivers applications.
