The AS1359-TT-25_EK_ST evaluation board is designed for linear voltage regulation applications. It is a low-power, low-cost solution that provides an accurate and stable output voltage, enabling designers to quickly evaluate a variety of linear voltage regulation components.

The AS1359-TT-25_EK_ST evaluation board includes a fixed linear voltage regulator module (LVR), a temperature compensation circuit, and an input and output voltage protection circuit. Together, these components ensure a stable output voltage and low ripple over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

The LVR on the board includes two components, an OPA onboard precision voltage reference and a control circuit, which adjusts the output voltage according to the plane recovery voltage of the reference. The reference voltage of the plane recovery is applied to the input of the control circuit for the comparison voltage required for control. If the comparison voltage is greater than the reference voltage, the output voltage will decrease until the two voltages reach the same value. The reference voltage also provides a stable, accurate voltage for the output of the LVR.

The temperature compensation circuit on the board is designed to compensate for the effects of temperature on the output voltage. Temperature affects the voltage regulator by changing its characteristics, such as its operating range and output voltage accuracy. The temperature compensation circuit helps to ensure that the output voltage remains stable within the specified temperature range.

The input and output voltage protection circuits on the board protect the voltage regulator from voltage overloads or shorts. The protection circuit monitors both the input and output voltages.
