The AS3933 DEV SYSTEM is an evaluation and development kit for the AS3933 RFID device. It features an embedded transmission/reception board powered by a PIC32 controller board and a wide variety of onboard connectors for integration with external antennas, readers, power supplies and an array ofoptional external peripherals. The device includes a reference socket for use with a variety of RFID tag ICs, enabling quick and easy replacement of an existing IC or to rapidly prototype new RFID solutions. The AS3933 DEV SYSTEM supports communication with multiple protocols, including a variety of open protocols such as NFC and ISO/IEC 14443, Mifare, I-code and Ultralight, as well as proprietary protocols, for example, GemCore Pro and TidyTAG. The device is currently being used in a wide range of smartcard solutions, including contactless payment, access control and transportation.

The AS3933 DEV SYSTEM is designed to facilitate rapid development of RFID systems. The kit includes an integrated power supply module and a PIC32 microcontroller board, which provides a range of connectivity and communication options. By utilizing a variety of open protocols and proprietary protocols, the system can be easily interfaced with existing or new RFID tag ICs. The integrated power supply module provides a regulated voltage supply for the different ICs, and also provides the capability to measure the voltage and current draw of each IC.
