The ATAVRTS2080A is a powerful application board that was created to facilitate thedesign and development of applications related to the sensing and control of motion data. Thisevaluation board comes with an integrated circuit consisting of an accelerometer and a thermostat.The board is part of the larger Atmel family of evaluation boards and it offers a completeevaluation platform for motion sensing applications. The onboard procedures make it easier fordevelopers to quickly evaluate a solution for their motion sensing application.

The ATAVRTS2080A has an accelerometer that is an integrated analog circuit that sensesacceleration and detects changes in velocity and tilt. This accelerometer is connected to a data processor, which is Atmel\'s own 8-bit microprocessor. This processor comes with its own set ofperipheral interface controllers and embedded power management circuits. The board also has anintegrated thermal sensor which detects changes in temperature.
