Oscillators, also known as Oscillator Circuits, are electronic circuits that generate repeating or alternating waves of alternating voltage, current and/or other signal types. The most common type of oscillator is the sinusoidal or sine wave oscillator, which produces a sine wave of alternating magnitude and phase that is similar to the natural frequencies produced by the human ear. The AX7PBF4-790.0000T is a high-performance RC oscillator for frequency up to 34.960 MHz. With its extremely low phase noise and very low jitter operation, it is ideally suited for applications where low power consumption, high speed and high precision are required, such as in timing generators, symbolic communication systems, sampling circuits, digital processors and other digital logic applications. The AX7PBF4-790.0000T has a two-pin SMA package and is designed to reduce the input voltage to a minimum while providing maximum accuracy and reliability. The input power rating is 0.2 to 1.8V with an input current of 2 mA. It provides an output frequency of up to 350 MHz in a single channel and up to 500 MHz in a dual-channel configuration. The signal has a low jitter of 1-2 pps, an amplitude of +/- 0.5V into 50 ohms, and a Phase Noise performance of -94 dBc/hz at 1 KHz offset.
The AX7PBF4-790.0000T oscillator utilizes a resistor-capacitor (RC) circuit to produce its output signal. This type of oscillator relies on the hysteresis effect of a passive resistor-capacitor (RC) network in an inverting amplifier circuit.
