IntroductionThe BB-WSKIT3BC-CBM is an RF Evaluation and Development Kit, Board specifically designed for evaluating and developing multi-band baseband wideband systems with digital modulation which covers the full range of RF Evaluator equipment used to accurately measure and tune RF performance for cellular, wireless, and digital radio applications. This its main features and functions are as follows: Features:
  • Multiple signals crossing paths to measure and isolate LPFs, switches, amplifiers, and highly sensitive components.
  • RF signal debugging for S-parameters and other evaluations both in-lab and on the field.
  • Compatible with a wide range of signal and frequency ranges, such as GSM, CDMA, EDGE, WCDMA, CDMA2000, WIMAX and HSPA+.
  • Full digital signal processing supports spectral data transfer and can also be used for signal demodulation and analyzing.
  • Power amplifiers and directional couplers allows for accurate RF measurements to analyze environmental conditions such as EMI and signal jitter or interference.

Working PrincipleThe BB-WSKIT3BC-CBM board works by providing signals from the source to the measure points, isolating path crossings, and analyzing amplifier and switch performance. When a signal is sent from a source, it will reach a point where two signals cross paths and the signal is then divided in two by the directional couplers. The signals are then isolated to the individual lines that make up the circuit. By measuring the amplifiers and switches, and the S-parameters at each node, the user can determine the performance of the components.The board also allows for power amplifier (PA) and directional couplers arrangement. These components can be used to accurately measure the transmitted signal or to analyze the environmental conditions such as electromagnetic interference (EMI). The board also supports full digital signal processing and supports spectral data transfer for signal demodulation and analyzing.
