BCS-101-T-S-HE Application field and Working Principle

BCS-101-T-S-HE (also known as “Top Socket”) rectangular connectors are typically used in electrical systems for industrial or military applications. It is composed of a plastic housing with two longitudinal mating slots and four rows of pins that are terminated in tin or gold plated female sockets.

The female sockets on the BCS-101-T-S-HE connector are located at opposite ends of the housing and the pins in each row are located parallel to the two mating slots. This arrangement provides the best possible contact to the mating sides. The contact pins are with single or double lock-in feature and are made of phosphor bronze which provides an excellent electrical and mechanical connection.

BCS-101-T-S-HE rectangular connectors are rugged and durable and operate in both extreme temperatures and in harsh environments. Its reliable connection provides the user with a secure connection that can withstand vibration and shock which is often encountered in military applications.

The working principle of the BCS-101-T-S-HE connector is the same as that of other rectangular connectors.
