BJ-166.6286MBE-T Oscillator

The BJ-166.6286MBE-T oscillator is a miniature surface-mount, temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) that operates at a frequency range of 166.6286 MHz with a temperature range of – 30° C to + 70° C. This oscillator has a low power consumption of 300 to 400 μA and features a 3.3 V CMOS output with extremely low jitter of less than 1 ps and low phase noise. Application Field and Working Principle

The BJ-166.6286MBE-T oscillator is mainly used in wireless communication systems such as GPS, WIFI, and cellular phones. Its working principle is based on an electronic crystal resonator which is a device that generates electrical signals with a very precise frequency. This TCXO oscillator consists of a quartz crystal, an oscillation amplifier circuit, and temperature sensors. The oscillation amplifier circuit is made up of an amplifier and a feedback loop, and the temperature sensors are used to detect the ambient temperature and compensate automatically for any changes. The oscillator takes the quartz crystal as the resonator component and tuning element to generate a desired frequency.
