As the current reaches the rated value, the NTC element will start to dissipate heat, rapidly increasing its resistance and preventing the current from exceeding the rated value. Once the current is reduced, the NTC thermistor cools down and returns to its original low-resistance state. This thermal cut-off mechanism ensures that the BK/PCF-1 will accurately and reliably interrupt the current flow, without a risk of blowout.
