Fuses

Working Principle

This increase in gap causes a decrease in the amount of current allowed to pass through the fuse, thus protecting the circuit from overload.

When the current exceeds the rated capacity of the fuse, the contacts expand further, causing the gap to increase further and consequently reducing the amount of current allowed to pass through. This disconnection from the circuit prevents any further current from flowing, thus protecting the circuit and its components from harm.

Application Field

BK/PCH-1-1/2 fuses are designed primarily for different types of low-voltage residential, commercial, air-conditioning, and HVAC applications. These fuses can be used in residential fuse boxes, circuit breakers, and control panels for general equipment protection, in air-conditioning and heat pumps, and heating and cooling equipment.
