For instance, a red light may signify that no current is present in the system, while a green light may signify that the normal, operational current is present. By combining the colors of various pilot lights, an operator can quickly determine the correct state of the process.

Both BP/LR panel indicators and pilot lights are essential components of many industrial control systems, due to their reliable, scalable, safe and cost-effective nature. They provide fast, reliable feedback to the operator about system status and relay vital information regarding safety, operational conditions and other critical elements of the process.

Importantly, these indicators must have the right power supply and should be correctly wired into the system. Furthermore, precautions should be taken so that they are not exposed to the elements and are properly maintained.
