BSW-135-04-S-E is a reliable rectangular connector class, featuring a header, receptacle, and female socket. Specifically designed to accommodate industry-standard wires, this ingenious piece of machinery engages in an efficient data transmission when connected to other electronic devices.

The BSW-135-04-S-E header is the component which stays securely mounted on a PCB and operates as the “male” portion of the connection, while the receptacle and female socket are the components that will be inserted into the PCB (female) portion of the connection. Coming in two different sizes, 5.5mm and 5.0mm, this connector allows a 6-13 AWG cable to fit through the interface while accommodating various wiring and cable types. This highly efficient interconnect provides a maximum current carrying capacity of 8A.

The BSW-135-04-S-E receptacle is the component that slides into the header in order to firmly secure the connection. It’s also one of the prime components in the BSW-135-04-S-E system. As the two main elements are connected, a maximum operating temperature of 105°C and 2-6mm of insulation clearance occur. This unique folding clip design, when combined with wave soldering technology during assembly, ensures an environmentally sealed connection. Constructed out of strong and dependable material, it is designed to create a tight mechanical fit of the connection.

The BSW-135-04-S-E female socket is the final component in the connection system. It works in tandem with the header as an additional layer of protection against the environment. This socket gives a snug fit and ensures a secure connection and efficient data transmission. Despite its 2-16mm of insulation clearance and a voltage rating of 400V AC/DC, the female socket’s contact resistance remains fixed at 2 milliohms. With a maximum current rating of 10A, this connector provides an added layer of protection from flashover, high voltage and current.
