BTH-060-02-F-D-LC-TR is a rectangular solid state array edge type Mezzanine board. It is etched with multiple troughs and grooves within one solid element creating an array-like structure with up to 10 pins. This board design is typically used in applications where the box size is small, and where the board may require some ruggedness such as in off-road vehicles and/or hazardous environments.The board consists of two rows of pins arranged in parallel lines at an angle of 45 degrees to one another. This design means that the maximum distance between components is less because of the increased number of pins in each row, and this improved speed connection creates better signal integrity as pins can be better aligned for easier pin insertion.The board has an edge-type configuration which has two solderable surfaces – one internal and one external. This allows for dual sided PCB assembly, as an internal surface can be used to make electrical connections to a printed circuit board while the external surface provides a measurable contact distance for routing purposes.The BTH-060-02-F-D-LC-TR is designed for both high speed signal transmission and mixed signal connection, allowing the board to be used in a variety of applications such as in cable assemblies for video or communication products and antennas as well as flight simulator systems.
