The device is configured with two capacitors, one at each end of the device. When a voltage is applied between the two capacitors, a corresponding capacitive voltage divider is formed. The output voltage is proportional to the size of the capacitors and the applied voltage.To control the output of the device, a 16-bit LSB toggle control is provided. This control can be used to reduce the size of the capacitors and the resulting output voltage. With the 16-bit resolution of the LSB toggle control, the user can adjust the output voltage with a resolution as fine as 0.01%.The device also features an adjustable angle of rotation of up to 360°. This is accomplished using the 16-bit LSB toggle control.
