Storage Input is used to retain the stored data in the register while Clock is high and apply them to the Parallel Outputs. The Parallel Data Inputs are used to parallel load data into the register.The CD74HC195EG4 has two separate functions: Serial In/Parallel Out (SIPO) and Parallel In/ Serial Out (PISO). The SIPO mode is used to shift serial data into the register on the positive edge of the Clock input. The serial data is present on the Serial Data Input as soon as the Storage Input is low, and is shifted from the register on each positive edge of the Clock input. The PISO mode is used to shift stored data out of the register on the negative edge of the Clock input. The stored data must be present on the parallel data inputs prior to the rising edge of the Clock input.The CD74HC195EG4 device enables rapid and efficient conversion of parallel data inputs to serial data outputs, and vice versa. This is achieved by using its SIPO and PISO logic functions, which are both asynchronous and synchronous, depending on the timing of the Clock input.In addition, the device is designed to minimize power consumption and area requirements, as it is constructed using advanced CMOS logic technology. In addition, the CD74HC195EG4 is highly immune to noise and has a tight timing specification, allowing it to be used in high-speed and high-density applications.
