Mica and PTFE Capacitors

CDV30EK300JO3F Capacitors is a small number of mounting-form capacitors constructed with Mica and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which offer all the reliability of both materials in a single package. In general terms, they are designed for electrical applications, such as grounding, signal, and noise processing.

Application Field

Mica and PTFE Capacitors are used in a broad range of electrical and industrial applications. Working Principle

The capacitors adopt the same principle of operation as all other capacitors where a dielectric material placed between the two electrodes creates a protection field. In this case, the Mica dielectric helps shield the two electrodes while the PTFE dielectric provides efficient insulation, allowing the capacitor to operate better in aggressive environments. The two different dielectric materials also make the capacitor much more resilient to temperature and humidity variations.
