Application field of CER0237C

CER0237C is a 3-pole ceramic filter (BPF) which has the advantages of wide signal bandwidth, low differential phase, low insertion loss, and good off-frequency response. It is widely used in the receiver systems of mobile communication, wireless table radios, wireless microphones, navigation systems, and wireless local area networks (WLANs). Specifically, it can be used in 4G/5G base stations, WLAN routers, set-top boxes, GPS systems, WiMAX systems, and Bluetooth® applications.

Working Principle of CER0237C

CER0237C is designed with three sections of series-to-parallel network, and thus exists in parallel mode parameters. Its ceramic resonators work together to form a set of band-pass filter response curves. The resonator material employed is the F-type NPO ceramic (this material is composed of aluminum oxide, potassium oxide, and silicon oxide). The reverse frequency dependent of the capacitance and the inductance of the device provide the knee-shaped response of the filter. The ceramic filters are built in a small plastic case to shield from the electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). Also, its filter elements and power terminals are sealed to protect the device from harsh environments.

CER0237C use high-performance F-type NPO ceramic with a temperature coefficient of 4.00 ppm/C, which allows a consistent performance over temperature range -30 to +85C.
