CES-112-01-F-S is a rectangular electrical connector, which belongs to the Headers, Receptacles, and Female Sockets family. It is a low cost option in high-density and high-speed electronic applications. The CES-112-01-F-S connector is widely used in USB-3.0 systems, workstations, and media interfaces.

The connector measures 1.77mm x 1.25mm, and has 8 pins arranged on two columns of alternating pin rows. It features 2mm pitch sockets with one direction alignment for easy installation. These pin rows are connected through a plastic label that is stamped and formed for product consistency. The top of the connector has a body wall that provides a secure fit of the socket. The connector is designed for up to 10 Gbps data transmission.

The connector\'s contact is made from gold plated beryllium-copper material, and has a total current rating of 2A. The contact\'s material has excellent electrical, corrosion, and wear resistance properties, along with strong holding force value. The housing is made of UL 94V-0 thermoplastic. The connector is rated up to 250VAC r.m.s. at 24.5A and up to 50VAC r.m.s. at 125A.
