CES-132-01-G-S is a Rectangular Connectors - Headers, Receptacles, Female Sockets series with a 8 pole double row SMT type right angle connector produced by CONEC Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH. The series offers a push-on locking mechanism for a reliable connection, enabling a secure mounting in highly dynamic applications. With its small size, it is the ideal connector for row board designing.A CES-132-01-G-S has a pitch of 2.54mm, a total length of 12.7mm, and a packing height of 5.85mm. It utilizes a 5.08mm mating connector and is available with a UL94V-0 material, right angle PCB design, and an operating temperature range between -55°C and +125°C. It provides a current rating of 2.5A and an insulation resistance of 1000MΩ. Additionally, the Series is UL, CSA and VDE approved.The CES-132-01-G-S connector features two rows of eight poles and is suitable for mounting on SMT wall, printed circuit boards and control panels. It is a two-piece design, consisting of a female receptacle and a male header. The female receptacle has right angle mounting holes and the male header has top-facing pins which are securely held to the male surface via the push-on locking mechanism.The male header has two solder points on each contact that are positioned along the sides of the board. This evenly distributes the force from the soldering process, ensuring a secure connection that is stable and resistant to shock and vibration. The contacts feature a copper alloy plating for optimal conductivity, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.The female receptacle features a V -shaped cage for secure contact retention.
