The CES-141-01-T-D rectangular connector is a simple, cost-effective connector solution. It offers reliable power and signal connections in a rugged but versatile form factor.

The CES-141-01-T-D is a two-position, female socket connector that features a 2.54mm pitch. It is available with both through-hole and surface mount options. The contacts are power rated at 5.0A/300.VAC and are rated at up to 60V., and are designed for a wide range of application requirements with contact resistance <50 mOhm. The connector is also UL-listed and CSA-approved.

The connector has two half-shells, each of which is composed of a metal shell and a dielectric insulator. The metal shell is made from a brass alloy, making it highly corrosion-resistant and durable. It has a screwed built-in-assembly and is connected mechanically by self-pinching material so that it is resistant to vibration and shock. Furthermore, the insulator is made from a flame-resistant high temperature plastic and is UL 94V-0 approved.

The CES-141-01-T-D connector works by creating an electrical connection between two components. To make this connection, contacts are placed in both socket-side and header-side of the connector and these contacts make contact with one another when the two shells are mated.
