A CLP-110-02-L-D-A-P Rectangular Connectors – Header, Receptacle, Female Socket is a product designed for reliable and cost effective electrical connection to printed circuit boards. It features 2.0mm of pin spacing and a maximum contact durability of 1,000 cycles. CLP series features design and production convenience with a pluggable design and individually crimp contact legs.

Working Principal:

The CLP-110-02-L-D-A-P is designed with two opposing rows of contacts,with one row of contacts for each contact. A mating plug is then inserted into the header and slides along the top portion of the header. As the plug is inserted into the header, the contacts are compressed into the contact slot and a solid connection is made.

The header is automatically released upon removal of the mating plug, allowing for secure connections in many applications. This rectangular connector also features an insulation displacement contact system between the two rows of contacts for rapid assembly, reduced contact resistance, and a low-cost, reliable termination. Additionally, this product is RoHS Compliant.
