<p>Mica and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) capacitors, such as the CM05ED360JO3, are components that store electric charge and are used in a variety of applications. PTFE capacitors are commonly used in high frequency, high speed circuits, such as switched-mode power supplies, clock oscillators, single-pole power filters, and RF and microwave circuitry.</p><p>The CM05ED360JO3 capacitor operates on the principle of electrical capacitance, which is the ability of a capacitor to store electric charge. When an electric field is applied to a capacitor, the voltage across its plates is equal to the field strength multiplied by the capacitance.
