Common Mode Chokes is a type of device that uses ferrite cores and winding inductors to effectively reduce and filter the common mode interference noise in the power line. CMF-6056 is a three-phase common mode choke, used for AC power circuits. CMF-6056 also has an excellent working principle. It works by utilizing the magnetic field produced by inductive winding to provide differential electrical noise reduction between the two lines of the power cord. First, an AC voltage is applied across the two wires of the power line. The current flowing in the wire produces an alternating magnetic field through the winding of the common mode choke. This magnetic field then induces a self-generated voltage in the wire, which opposes the original voltage via Faraday\'s Law. This Opposing voltage reduces the difference between the two power line wires, thereby reducing common mode interference.
The CMF-6056 offers a 5-nH/A rated inductance, which provides effective blcokage of both low and high frequency common mode noise. The common mode current is blocked by the CMF-6056\'s winding structure, and the common mode noise is easily filtered out. The CMF-6056 also offers very high EMI shielding effectiveness, with up to 70dB for high frequency noise and up to 40dB for low frequency noise. This ensures that sensitive devices and circuits are protect from interference.
The CMF-6056 is also designed for exceptional reliability and efficiency. Its dielectric insulation is rated for up to 2500V, and it can survive high operating temperatures with a maximum operating temperature of 20000C. The winding is also designed to reduce the losses caused by eddy current, and it\'s maximum frequency can reach up to 2MHz.
