Common Mode Chokes

Common Mode Chokes, also known as CM Chokes or CMJ Chokes, are electrical devices which are used to suppress common-mode noise in electronic circuits. CM Chokes are commonly used in power supplies, DC-DC converters, and other electronic circuits where common-mode noise may be present. The CMJ-2-101 is a type of CM Choke which is popular due to its small size, low profile, and high efficiency.The CMJ-2-101 is a helical common-mode choke made from ferrite core material that is wound with two turns of enameled copper wire and encapsulated in UL94V-0 flame retardant epoxy. This type of CM choke has a high rated current of 2A and is designed to operate between zero and 10MHz.
