Common Mode Chokes, CMT-8113, have been developed to provide electronic suppression of common mode noise in the form of electromagnetic interface noise. The device combats such interferences in data and power cables, and also improves the communication interface between data and power lines. CMT-8113 works on both balanced pair and unbalanced lines.CMT-8113 consists of multiple coils and is designed with an integrated magnet core. It is also equipped with an integrated suppression circuit. The device is based on magneto-inductive coupled technology that combines the suppression capacitor with the inductance coils. This initial conversion is then followed by a second conversion where the heat is converted to current and then directed away from the interference circuit.
