CN-70 is a type of accessory, designed for operating in environments with signal intensities of up to 10V/m (170 MHz to Unlimited GHz). It consists of a quartz-based oscillator, a fine-tune voltage regulator, and a high-precision digital frequency counter, along with a selection of input/output connectors. The CN-70 is capable of measuring frequency in most frequencies up to and including 10GHz, allowing frequency spectra of 1,2,4,6,8 and 10GHz bandwidths to be measured.
CN-70 has a wide range of applications in various industries. It can be used as a tool to evaluate the performance of test cables, fiber optic systems, and other media interfaces, to test the stability of frequencies during signaling, to check the sensitivity of receivers, and to measure analog clock rates. It can also be utilized to detect signal impairments caused by signal dispersion, signal noise, or interference. Furthermore, it is used to measure the optical power of optical signals, to check if optical systems are capable of transmitting certain frequencies, to evaluate subscribers’ RF reception performance, and to observe transmitter stability.
In order to measure signals in the frequency range of 1 - 10GHz, the CN-70 implements two essential components, namely a quartz-based oscillator and a fine-tune voltage regulator. The oscillator is a highly stable resonator that produces an electrical signal at its output port, which is measured by the fine-tune voltage regulator. The regulator output is then fed through a digital frequency counter, which measures the frequency and produces its reading in microseconds. The regulator can also be adjusted to improve the accuracy of the frequency measurement.
The CN-70 helps professionals in the field of wireless communication to accurately measure the frequency of a signal, which is a major factor in determining the performance of a particular device or system. Other important factors include the signal ripple, group delay, bit rate, channel power, and the phase-shift. This makes the CN-70 a very useful tool for network engineers, researchers, and those in the field of wireless communication.
The CN-70 is ideal for use in laboratory and, production, environment because it is highly accurate, reliable, and easy to use. Furthermore, its use is not limited to wireless communication and can be used for a wide range of industrial applications. It can also measure amplitudes up to 3V/m.
