Widely used in critical energy, industrial and defense applications, the CS61880-IQZR is a high-performance, low-power, low latency, and radiation-tolerant Integee Real-Time Processor (RTP). The CS61880-IQZR product family consists of an In-System Programming (ISP) controller and a System-On-Chip (SOC) architecture designed to meet the demanding requirements for technology-agnostic designs.
The CS61880-IQZR is a high performance, low power and low latency processor offering integrated power and thermal monitoring, system clock frequency and duty cycle control, and a rich set of peripheral devices and interfaces. It offers a high degree of scalability and is fully compliant with the ARMv7-M and ARMv8-A architectures.
The CS61880-IQZR provides excellent thermal performance and allows for an optimized power-efficient design that allows for tight integration of multiple IP cores, including advanced embedded MCUs, FPGAs, and networks on chip (NoC). Designed for mission-critical applications, the CS61880-IQZR offers high-integrity security, reliability and availability.
The CS61880-IQZR features a novel architecture that utilizes a homogeneous multi-core configuration with dedicated on-chip memory, data and instruction caches, and advanced core processor cores, optimized for low-power and performance. In addition, the CS61880-IQZR offers a wide range of user-configurable options, such as advanced low latency Coherent Interrupt Processor (CIP) and advanced remote power, thermal and system monitor capabilities.
The CS61880-IQZR supports a comprehensive suite of I/O interfaces, including Ethernet, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), USB, CAN, and UART, along with an extensive set of debug access ports and on-chip memories. Making CS61880-IQZR suitable for a wide range of applications, including network appliances, intelligent power, automotive and medical devices, IoT, industrial control, data acquisition, autonomous driving, autonomous robotics, test and measurement, high-performance computing, and field-scale drug discovery.
The CS61880-IQZR also enables high-speed processing and data throughput through an advanced DMA controller, which allows for simultaneous multiple data transfers with minimal latency and good throughput. To further facilitate data transfers, the CS61880-IQZR has a hardware-accelerated DMA engine that supports both system and hardware-based data exchange and transfer operations.
The CS61880-IQZR also includes multiple high-speed interface options such as Ethernet and PCIe to enable connection to external entities and peripherals such as sensors, cameras, displays, and actuators. All Ethernet and PCIe interfaces are optimized for low latency, high reliability and high-reliability data exchange.
The CS61880-IQZR supports a wide range of software development tools, such as a compiler, linker, debugger, and profiler, making it an ideal platform for embedded software development. It also supports multiple RTOS (e.g. ARM-M/N, uCOS-III, MicroBlaze and ChibiOS), Linux, and a full-featured development environment, such as Eclipse and IAR Embedded Workbench in order to simplify development processes.
The CS61880-IQZR architecture provides a high degree of flexibility and scalability, making it suitable for a multitude of applications and requirements.
