CT-1014 is a type of crimpers used in electrical and electrical engineering departments. It is primarily used to join electrodes and their conductors, other components and equipment. It works to minimize the possibility of contact resistance between two objects. The aim of the crimper is to create a junction or connection that is strong enough to sustain the power distribution, current load, and load distribution between two contacts.The operation of CT-1014 is based on the principle known as “Abnormal-emission crimping”. When two electrodes are placed together, the current that passes through the contact creates a high voltage between them. This can lead to release of electrons in the air, known as abnormal-emission. Using the forced combination of normal-emission and abnormal-emission current, this tool assists to generate strong and reliable connections.Unlike many crimping tools, CT-1014 does not make use of heat.
