Inverters are a type of technology used to convert direct current into alternating current, also known as AC. The CXA-P10M-P is a type of inverter designed for a post-equalized regulation of solar power panels using adjustable DC voltage.

The CXA-P10M-P is composed of a maximum power point tracker (MPPT) and Maximum Power Point Tracker control circuit (MPPTCT) contained in a unit. The MPPTCT functions as a control circuit that recognizes and allocates the amount of power generated by the solar panel, while the MPPT functions to track the circuit’s maximum power point and adjust the DC voltage to regulate the power taken from the panel. Both the MPPTCT and MPPT are designed to autoregulate the power and voltage from the panel.

The main power source of the CXA-P10M-P is connected to a DC voltage input interface which passes the current to the Step down circuit. The Step down circuit reduces the voltage to the required PV voltage, cuts off excess current and then sends it to the Maximum power point tracking circuit. There, the MPPT circuit compares the voltage of the solar panel with the set point voltage and adjusts the differential, serving as the main regulator for the CXA-P10M-P.

Once a stable power point is achieved, the power and voltage are then fed to the Maximum Power Point Tracking Control circuit. The control circuit in the CXA-P10M-P is designed to keep the panel’s voltage and power at the set point level mentioned in the parameter settings. This ensures that solar energy is harvested and efficiently used within the required range.

This then connects to the rectifier circuit which converts the Direct Current (DC) from the panel to Alternating Current (AC). The current is then passed through an output filter, and further through an AC output voltage filter and then directly to the AC output. This conditioned power is then passed through the output filter which takes out any major fluctuations in voltage or current for better efficiency in usage.

The CXA-P10M-P inverter also includes an RTC (Real Time Clock) which monitors the PV panel’s performance and automatically adjusts the operating power point as changes in environmental factors such as temperature, time of day or illumination occur. Additionally, it allows for the convenient setting of parameters via a programmable control interface.

The CXA-P10M-P is an exemplary tool used to efficiently regulate solar panel’s output in order to harvest and condition the maximum amount of electricity from the solar panel. Its features and components allow for a reliable and automatic regulation of the solar panel’s maximum power output which enables panel owners to have better control over their energy production and consumption.
