Working Principle
CXA10-48S12 works on the principle of inductive step-down and step-up regulation. Initially, the current from the power supply is fed to the transformer, which converts the alternating current(AC) into direct current (DC). This process of conversion can be divided into two main stages: rectification and regulation.
It uses a switching technique for rectification, where the DC voltage is filtered into a constant DC voltage. This is done by switching off and on at very high speeds between the zero and peaks states to form a smooth average current.
