The DBMAM25PFO is a type of D-Sub, D-Shaped Connectors - Housings, which is designed for electronic and industrial applications, such as supplies for electrical connections in the automotive industry. The product consists of a set of individual male pins that are connected together to form a universal mat connection of 25 positions. The housing is made of thermoplastic.The DBMAM25PFO housing incorporates two terminal blocks - a male 25-pin base and a female 25-pin base - with a central ridge and an additional locking tab for secure locking. The two blocks are connected together via two independent bands, which close around the pins of the D-shaded housing. In this way, a secure connection is achieved with no worries about misalignment. The housing also has a friction locking feature that provides an extra layer of security and stability against vibration.The working principle of the DBMAM25PFO is based on the simultaneous actuation of both basepins and the housing. When the device is in its “off” state, the basepins are spread apart by an “open” relay system. As a result, the connection is “off” and no signal is present. When “on”, the basepins are released and all the pins move inwards in one motion, thereby creating an electrical connection and signalling the device. It should be noticed that the “closed” relay system does not guarantee a continuous connection between the two basepins.
