The DC2017A Evaluation Board is an excellent off-line SMPS that can be used in a wide variety of applications. This evaluation board is an ideal tool to help designers evaluate and test a variety of DC/DC and AC/DC switching converter circuits.
The DC2017A Evaluation Board features a highly efficient, synchronous PWM controller, the TNY278P. The controller is capable of operating over a wide input voltage range and is suitable for a broad range of DC/DC converter and AC/DC converter designs. The evaluation board also includes the TLV431, a three-pin adjustable voltage reference, which allows the output voltage to be adjusted from 4.0V to 16V. Additionally, the TNY688 LDO voltage regulator is an optional regulator that can be used to provide a clean and rock-solid 5V supply.
The DC2017A Evaluation Board takes advantage of its high-performance components to provide a compact and lightweight package for evaluating and testing SMPS circuits. The board is designed to be used in a wide variety of applications including DC/DC converters for AC-DC power supplies, DC converters for DC-DC power supplies, and SMPS for LED lighting, white goods, and electronic motor controllers.
