By utilizing the Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC’s ARM® Cortex™-A family of processor cores, and Xilinx’s FPGA fabric, the DC2073A-E is able to take advantage of real-time data logging and I²C, CAN, and UART communication protocols to evaluate various components’ performance. In addition, it can also be used to develop advanced power management solutions, such as those related to renewable energy, automotive, and medical devices.In terms of its working principle, the DC2073A-E is based on the ARM Cortex A-9 family of processor cores. This provides an optimized platform for the compilation and running of program code. It also uses the Xilinx FPGA fabric to provide a programmable logic platform and software tools to support the evaluation of power management components. These tools include a debugging port, an embedded logic analyzer, a logic signal generator, and peripheral drivers, providing multiple alternatives for debugging a system.The DC2073A-E board also provides two different types of programming options: software development and hardware development.
