DC2085A-E Evaluation Boars for Digital to Analog Converters (DACs) is a versatile evaluation board suitable for a broad range of core applications. Featuring four independent channel inputs, these boards are used for the conversion of digital to analog signals for a variety of purposes.In its most basic structure, the DC2085A-E Evaluation Board consists of four highly integrated DAC ICs - one for each channel. Each component features its own digital input/output port, power management circuitry, and temperature-controlled feedback loop. This ensures that all four channels work synchronously for better accuracy and speed.The board also features a dedicated temperature-controlled reference channel, allowing for accurate conversion across a wide range of temperatures. This temperature-controlled reference channel is also used to determine the setpoints for each of the four channels, equalizing their performance within each temperature range.The boards feature a variety of small yet highly efficient analog switches, allowing the user to select between differential, single-ended, or a combination of either. With these switches, users can also select the number of bits to use in the conversion, providing for a broad range of resolutions for each channel.On the digital side, the DC2085A-E Evaluation Board features an integrated decode logic and data-shift registers. Using these, the user can easily configure the circuit for a variety of applications, ranging from simple digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion for audio signals to complex functions such as A/D and pulse-width modulation (PWM).Moreover, the DC2085A-E boards boast of differential and single-ended control voltage flexibility, as well as adjustable gain settings. With these, the user can easily configure the setpoints of each output for the desired performance and accuracy.In addition, the DC2085A-E boards also include on-board display drivers, giving the user the capability to preview the output of each channel before sending it out to its respective control. This allows the user to test and adjust the output before applying the signal to the payload.Working Principle:DC2085A-E Evalulation Board features four independent channels. Each channel is composed of a digital input port, an analog output port, power management circuitry, and a temperature-controlled feedback loop.The decode logic motorizes the data-shift registers and this allows the user to configure the circuit for different digital formats. This means that the user can select the bit count and the digital format to use for the conversion.In addition, the board also features on-board analog switches to select between differential, single-ended, and both differential and single-ended formats, as well as adjustable gain settings. It also includes a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) reference for high-accuracy operation across the entire temperature range.The temperature-controlled reference channel is also used to determine the setpoints for each of the four channels. This results in consistent performance no matter the temperature.The DC2085A-E Evaluation Board also includes on-board display drivers that allow the user to preview the output of each channel before sending it out to the control.
