The DCM3623E50M31C2M00 Evaluation Board is an off-line, DC/DC and AC/DC Small to Medium-Power SMPS. It is designed for application in various systems such as motor control and start-stop systems, industrial and medical equipment, automotive, lighting, etc. The board has a wide input voltage range, low noise operation and meets EN55022 Class B and IEC 61000-4 immunity requirements.This board is equipped with an M3623E50M31C2M00 PFD controller IC suitable for high-efficiency SMPS control applications. The device integrates all functions for an SMPS such as an adjustable current-mode controller, three high-side MOSFET drivers, two low-side MOSFET drivers, a line voltage feed-forward (LVPF) circuit, alternating current (AC) sense comparator, over-temperature and over-current protections, and more. The device starts with a fixed 2.5MHz oscillator frequency and an internal voltage reference of 1.21V.The DCM3623E50M31C2M00 Evaluation Board is provided with a wide range of evaluation tools that offer ample scope for testing and experimenting with the board. This includes a DIP switch that is used to set the switching frequency and a potentiometer that is used for setting the output voltage. The board also comes with two LED indicators for indicating normal operations and fault modes.The board can be directly powered by an AC input of 120V to 265VAC and delivers an output power of 50W, with an adjustable output voltage range of 8V to 45V.
