DK-K7-EMBD-G is a development kit that enables users to quickly create and test a variety of complex logic systems using a Xilinx FPGA and CPLD. It is comprised of an FPGA module with support components for evaluating Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGAs, as well as a CPLD module with support components for evaluating Xilinx Spartan-6 CPLDs. The kit can be used to evaluate the performance of various digital logic designs in a lab-like environment and is intended to be used in combination with the Xilinx Vivado Design Suite.

DK-K7-EMBD-G’s evaluation board is powered by a Xilinx Zynq XC7K6-4VF2 FPGA, and includes 16 Mb of fast DDR3 RAM, an integrated PCIe interface, four gigabit Ethernet ports, two UARTs, eight general purpose I/O (GPIO) ports, an SD card slot, and an external JTAG. The kit also includes 8 Mb of non-volatile SPI Flash memory, as well as a 32-bit ARM Cortex-A9 processor for running user-defined software. Additionally, the kit also comes with a USB-to-TTL serial port, a 14-pin GPIO ribbon cable, and an external JTAG interface.
