DLP-RFS1231 RF transceiver modules are designed for small- to mid-range applications which require direct digital interface and transmission in the 902-928 MHz ISM band. Specifically designed in the Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) communication protocol, it can provide fast, secure and reliable multimode comunicationon while minimizing interference with other nearby radio frequency (RF) sources.Application Field
DLP-RFS1231 RF transceiver modules are mostly used in applications which require distance communication, like remote sensing, home security monitoring, machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, etc. It\'s also frequently used as an embedded part of home automation, wireless control solutions and access control systems. The module offers advanced features such as embedded antenna, configurable data rate from 2 to 500 Kb/s, low power consumption, multiple modulation modes, and supports multi-cast domains.Working Principle
DLP-RFS1231 RF transceiver modules are based on the FHSS, a high-speed, broadband wireless communication technique that enables the user to select a frequency from a predetermined set of frequencies. In order to achieve reliable and secure communication, the module randomly hops between the frequencies at high speed. This process is known as spread spectrum.The module takes a data stream from the user and splits it into small packets. These packets are then sent over one hop within a frequency range, then sent to the next frequency in the set. This way, the hop frequency randomly changes and the receiver can keep receiving signals even when hosted conditions are not ideal. High performance is also maintain as a result of the module\'s ability to detect any signals in the frequency band and adapt the hopping pattern accordingly. The module includes radio power control, automatic gain control, and a low-power-aware mode, which allows it to work efficiently during periods of low energy.Conclusion
