Application Field and Working Principle

DMC-M 99-10 PA is mainly designed for use in the fields of industrial automation, electrical appliance manufacturing, communication equipment, computer engineering, and medical engineering. The socket easily attaches to any PCB board and provides a secure mating connection. This connector allows current to flow reliably and helps to keep the maintenance costs down all while containing no hazardous material which are perfect for rugged working environments. It can also be used to quickly interconnect circuits for audio, video, and data transmission. 

When two connectors are joined, the multiple points of contact on the surface of the male contacts create a reliable, low-resistance connection, allowing current to flow easily without making or breaking the contact. The internal springs on the male connectors provide electrical connection between the connectors and ensure proper contact pressure. These springs are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel that has a high fatigue life and makes it a reliable connection.

The contacts’ plating is generally made from gold or silver to ensure good contact and prevent environmental components such as dust and moisture causing any damage to the contacts. The robust housing has also been designed to ensure high levels of thermal and shock resistance, making it ideal for use in challenging and hazardous environments.
