The DS2181AQ+ is an integrated Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) and an Integrated Advanced Power Management (APM) sub-system. It is designed to be used in embedded system and telecommunications applications. The DS2181AQ+ is the latest addition to the DS2181 family of Advanced Interface Solutions chips. It is the first and only device with integrated automatic power management, which reduces idle power consumption by up to 95%.
