Designed to help save time and money, this versatile kit can be used for a wide range of Bluetooth Low Energy applications including mobile/wearable accessories, sensor-based devices, audio/video streaming, and more.Components and FeaturesThe DVK-BT730-SC includes a base board, a daughter board, antennas, and other components. The base board integrates a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 compliant RF transceiver, BlueGecko BT wireless module, MCP2561CAN transceiver, and a buck-boost regulator, suitable for powering the device from a 1.8V to 5.5V supply. It also features onboard connectors, a SPI/I2C connector, and a USB2.0 port for debugging and programming.The daughter board adds additional functionality to the DVK-BT730-SC. This includes an onboard STM32 Cortex-M4 microcontroller, an antenna switch, an RF shield, as well as several sensors. Additionally, the daughter board contains 26 general-purpose I/Os for user-defined connections.Application Field and Working PrincipleThe DVK-BT730-SC can be used for a wide range of Bluetooth Low Energy applications such as establishing connections between mobile/wearable devices, streaming audio and video, and integrating Bluetooth Low Energy devices with sensor networks.
