DVK-PRM111 is an RF Evaluation and Development Kit, Board manufactured by company Miromico. This kit consists of a PC board and associated hardware that can be used to evaluate and develop receivers and transmitters in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical fields.The main purpose of this kit is to enable companies to quickly develop and test their radio frequency (RF) products. The board features an integrated RF transceiver module, a high-frequency shield, an on-board microcontroller, and associated software.DVK-PRM111 operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band and is used for applications including wireless communications, remote monitoring, industrial automation, remote sensing, and more. The PC board is powered by a 2.4-GHz RF generator and transmitting-receiving module.The board comes with an 8-bit Atmel® Microcontroller which is used to control and configure all the operations of the RF module. It also has an onboard EEPROM which is used to store settings and control instructions.The board is driven by a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) to process data to and from the transceiver. The FPGA also provides the interface between the transceiver and the microcontroller. The board also houses a 5-channel mixer which is used to mix phase-modulated and frequency-modulated signals.DVK-PRM111 can be used to develop and test receiver and transmitter procedures such as frequency control, signal conditioning, signal acquisition, filtering and modulation. It can also be used to evaluate digital communication techniques in the 2.4-GHz ISM band.The board can be used in various other applications such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, UHF, VHF, and AM/FM radio.
