E-L6574D is an integrated lighting controller designed to meet the lighting needs of professional customers in the lighting and ballast control market.

The main functional block of E-L6574D is a PWM dimming control unit, which is used for controlling the PWM signal output and thus regulating the current output on the ballast. The dimming control unit is based on a proprietary PWM control algorithm and includes a configurable dimming ramp, a reactless transition between frenquency and duty cycle control and reduced power consumption during dimming. The data transfer interface is I2C compliant.

The second functional block consists of three isolated power MOSFETs (PMOS) for ballast power supply, a main control block, four asynchronous rectifier controllers for instantaneous power up and shutdown. E-L6574D works in a closed-loop control with predetermined reference PWM signals as input. When the input reference PWM signal is within the preset boundaries, the output of the PWM dimmer control unit remains constant and the associated ballast will then be entirely controlled by the parameters set in the power MOSFETs.
