E-L9826 application field and working principle
The E-L9826 is a series of current-mode CMOS pulse-width-modulated (PWM) controllers.This device integrates two independent high-speed, high-efficiency power switches, as well as multiple load drivers.The E-L9826 series is a member of the Power Management and Chip Integration (PMIC) family and works in an array of power distribution applications, including those where multiple load drivers are required.It is particularly suitable for industrial IoT, lighting, consumer and power applications.

Working Principle of E-L9826
The E-L9826 consists of two identical pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controllers powered from a power supply. These controllers provide two complete synchronous switch mode power converters, each having its own separate inductor. Each controller contains a current-mode PWM quench logic circuit, which controls the on/off cycle of the switches, and the resulting output voltage switching transitions occur nearly instantaneously. The internal pulse-width modulation comparators compare the output voltage error with a reference voltage and adjust the duty cycle of the output switch accordingly to maintain the output voltage constant.
In addition, the E-L9826 has built-in protection features such as overvoltage and undervoltage protection, current limiting and thermal protection. These features help to protect against potential device damage and downtime due to overvoltage or undervoltage conditions.The built-in soft-start and pre-bias circuits further protect the device from sudden inrush current due to capacitive or other loads.
