The E-TDA7404D is a special purpose Audio IC which is designed for low power audio amplifier applications. This IC is capable of delivering 4W of peak output power to an 8 ohm speaker in mono mode and 2W of peak power in both stereo mode and bridge mode. The headroom of the circuit is also relatively high compared to other ICs, which means even at low volumes, the sound will still be very clear and crisp.
