E32-CC500 application field and working principle
The E32-CC500 series is renowned for its reliability and performance. This series of transceivers is mainly intended for use in industrial, instrumentation, and medical applications. It is used to transfer digital and analog signals between two locations over a short to medium-range with a reliable data link.
Application field
The E32-CC500 series transceivers are used in various applications such as data logging, remote monitoring, controlling, measuring and maintenance systems. For example, it is widely used in basic networking, industrial Ethernet, fire alarm systems, communications networks, HVAC systems, pipe monitoring, and other wireless data communication applications. They are designed to fulfill the needs of a wide variety of industries and home automation applications like the internet of things (IoT), consumer appliances, and industrial control systems.
Working principle
The E32-CC500 series transmitters and receivers are connected to the data bus. The transmitter and the receiver both have operating voltage of 3.3 to 5.5 volts. The power output for the transmitter is up to 500mW, and the power input for the receiver is up to 100mW. They offer communication between industrial equipment up to a distance of 1 km.
The E32-CC500 transceivers communicate with each other via a radio frequency (RF) link, operating within the 868 or 915 MHz frequency bands. The transceiver transmits and receives data via radio signals. The data is then encoded or decoded with specific carrier frequencies to ensure secure transmission. Each transceiver uses a digital spread spectrum modulation scheme, which improves signal quality and extends communication range.
Additionally, these transceivers have an adaptive transmission technique which modulates the RF output depending on the communication environment. This helps to improve the signal quality and increase the communication range. The E32-CC500 series also feature a cyclic wakeup mode that helps conserve power while still keeping the connection alive. This feature reduces the power consumption of the transceiver and helps to improve battery life when in standby mode.
