This board features a NXP QorIQ Qonverge T4240 processor with four ARM Cortex A-15 cores and two Cortex M-4 cores, a NAND Flash module, DDR3 SDRAM, multiple displays, audio, RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and serial port expansion interfaces along with NXP\'s unique i.MX6 QuadPlus features such as Augmented Reality, Real Time Imaging and Energy Efficient Display.The EBK-GN2504-00 provides a versatile platform for developing system-level concepts for energy-efficient applications. The board provides an integrated processor and memory, a wide range of I/O peripherals such as Ethernet, USB, and several other standard serial ports, as well as LCD and graphics capabilities. It is designed to suit several usage scenarios, such as industrial control, medical/healthcare, retail POS, automation/diagnostics, and surveillance/security.The EBK-GN2504-00 is equipped with NXP’s QorIQ Qonverge T4240 processor, which combines dual-core ARM Cortex A-15 cores with two additional Cortex M-4 cores. This processor provides up to four times the performance of single-core applications. The board also features NXP’s powerful i.MX6 QuadPlus processor that offers two- to four-times improved performance over conventional embedded designs along with energy efficient display features.The software support for the EBK-GN2504-00 includes a Linux-based BSP, Android (4.4.2/4.4.4/5.0/6.0) and Windows Embedded Compact 7. The board also provides access to the open source Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
