Film capacitors are constructed from two metallic plates, known as electrodes, separated by a dielectric material that forms the core of the capacitor. The ECQ-E4154JF is a type of film capacitor specially designed for surface mount applications. In this application, the film capacitor is used to reduce high frequency noise, compensate for capacitive reactance, and to reduce VSWR. The ECQ-E4154JF is capable of being surface mounted, while being able to handle up to 800 volts of DC working voltage and 3 MHz ripple current. It features a high Q value, high insulation resistance, excellent reliability and high frequency harmonics reduction capability.

The work principle of ECQ-E4154JF is based on the capacitor\'s capacitance. A capacitor forms a capacitance by storing electric charge.
