The ECQ-E6154RKF is a Class I dielectric film capacitor, manufactured with a high-performance vacuum-deposited metallized polypropylene film.

ECQ-E6154RKF Working Principle

The ECQ-E6154RKF is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor. The device has extremely low internal losses and high-frequency performance. Internally, the capacitor is composed of two metalized electrodes, with a monolayer/polymer film dielectric in between. When connected to an alternating current of voltage, a layer of charge forms on each electrode and establishes an electric field between them. This electric field causes electrons to be attracted to one electrode and released from the other, producing a current flow in the circuit. At the same time, the dielectric stores the excess charge created by the electric field, thus acting as a capacitor.The ECQ-E6154KF is capable of withstanding a certain amount of voltage without breaking down, providing good performance and reliability. Other key aspects of its design include a high degree of temperature stability, damping, and protection from leakage currents, in addition to overall good electrical performance.
