Application Field

Working Principle

The ECQ-E6333KF9 stores electrical energy by means of electrostatic energy. Its electrodes are connected to external terminals, and when the capacitor is subjected to an electrical current it stores electrical energy. The capacitor is polarized, meaning it can store charge in only one direction.When the capacitor is subjected to an electrical current, the electric field created between the electrodes forces them to become oppositely charged. This means that positive charges, which have a positive electric potential energy, repel other positive charges and attract negative charges, which have a lower potential energy, and vice versa.The capacitance of the ECQ-E6333KF9 is determined by the size, shape and material of the electrodes, the type of dielectric used and the distance between the electrodes. By increasing the area of the electrodes, increasing the distance between the electrodes or increasing the dielectric constant of the dielectric material, it is possible to increase the capacitance of the capacitor.When connected in a parallel circuit, the ECQ-E6333KF9 serves as an energy reservoir and can absorb current surges, act as a filter for AC signals, stabilize voltage and decrease the discharge time of a circuit. When connected in a series circuit, the capacitor can reduce the amount of current that passes through a circuit, reduce the harmonic distortion, act as a noise filter and help protect against transient voltage and current.
